The starting point of the exhibition Traversées lies in a box of found photographs and in the interpretation of its contents. The owners of this box travelled to distant lands, leaving behind a collection of memories: archives, postcards, and photographs.
The editions presented below originate from the reverse sides of postcards discovered among the photographs that gave rise to the exhibition project. Finding these blank postcards, never written on nor sent, inspired me to publish them so that they might finally continue their journey and perhaps be mailed today.
These editions are presented in boxes containing five original numbered prints. Produced in an edition of 100 sets, the postcards feature on their front side drawings exhibited in the show, inspired by photographs taken by the original owners of the box. On the reverse side are reproductions of the blank postcards found in the original collection.

These postcard boxes stem from an artistic experiment developed during my art residency at the Carrefour des Arts in 2021–22.
The starting point of this project lies in the discovery of a memory box found at a flea market, which became a pretext to reconstruct and reinterpret the journey of a family who travelled across America and Japan in the 1960s. The work unfolds at the threshold where memory dissolves into imagination, blurring the boundaries between past and present.
A narrative space emerges, where time and place become sites of exploration, allowing past and present to coexist and intersect.
Each box contains five original prints, carefully numbered and produced in a limited edition of 100. The front side of each print features reproductions of drawings created during the residency.
On the reverse, the prints reproduce authentic postcards from the 1960s found in the memory box.
Discovering these blank, never-sent postcards sparked a desire to reactivate them — offering the possibility of sending them into the present.
